Capacity-building programs help nonprofits learn best practices in using documentary storytelling to communicate their mission, call to action, or to raise critical funding. In the past, these programs have included seminars for nonprofits on how to improve marketing and development efforts through documentary-style video and hands-on classes for nonprofit staff to gain skills in video production.
Once a year, Docs In Progress offers a special subsidized eight session video production workshop specifically for nonprofits. Our next workshop will take place in summer 2017 and we will announce a call for applications in the spring. Find out more about our 2016 Nonprofit Video Workshop.
There are also opportunities to be profiled by Docs In Progress students as part of our Community Stories.
