COMMUNITY STORIES FILM FESTIVAL returns on March 15-17, 2024!  This FREE event featuring local films by filmmakers from DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia will include in-person screenings, virtual screenings and live Q&As via Eventive.  

Since 2010, our annual Community Stories Film Festival has provided a way to highlight the stories of people, places, and events from our local community, across the DMV, and by our local filmmakers. 

Docs In Progress believes in the power of documentary films to bring communities together and why Community Stories is such a successful home-grown event.

Filmmakers: Submit your feature and/short for consideration. The call for submissions for #CSFF24 is now open via FilmFreeway.The deadline is November 30, 2023.
