Heidi Wis a strategist, organizer, and creative who believes in the power of art and inspired advocacy to change the world for the better. A respected leader in the progressive and feminist movements, Heidi is widely regarded as a critical voice on issues regarding women’s rights, reproductive justice, and racial equality. In addition to her political work, Heidi’s passion for seeing the experiences of women and girls of color reflected in culture and politics has led her to explore artistic avenues to tell new stories of empowerment for Black women. Her fellowship film is called “Blood, Laughter, & Tears”.
