Docs In Progress believes in the power of documentary films to bring communities together and why Community Stories is such a successful home-grown event.

Now in its 14th Year, Community Stories is a celebration of independent documentary filmmaking, uniting filmmakers, cinephiles, and community members for three days of screenings, filmmaker Q&As, and conversation.  We are pleased to announce this we will be gathering in person at Docs - 8560 Second Avenue, Silver Spring, MD from March 15-17. [entrance on Apple Avenue].

Docs In Progress is also thrilled to announce that our closing film will be screened at the AFI/Silver Theater.  We believe in the power of documentary films to bring communities together and this is why Community Stories is such a successful home-grown event.
