Jolene Carter

Programming

Jolene is a multi-disciplinary artist who works in film, photo, audio, and design. She received her B.A. in Film & Media Arts from American University in 2018 and is currently pursuing her MFA in Film at Howard University. For the past ten years, she has provided small businesses, artists, and non-profits with a variety of creative services. Additionally, as a hip-hop artist and producer, she creates music for herself and artists of all genres. Jolene’s personal set of work explores the intersection of faith, identity, and culture. She is passionate about using art to build community and bring about social change.
