Kimberley Spire-Oh

Kimberley is a former special education attorney and has recently transitioned into the field of documentary filmmaking. Motivated by the systemic inequities she witnessed in the legal system, particularly those affecting schoolchildren, Kimberley seeks to use storytelling as a means of inspiring public action towards policy change. She is a strong advocate for policies that protect children with disabilities and has volunteered her time at the local, state, and national levels. She is an active participant in various documentary filmmaking groups and has taken courses through the Sundance Institute Collab Program. Her fellowship film is called “A Bad Day”.
