A screening to help Haiti

Erica here.  Sorry I have not posted much to the blog lately.  I have been traveling for the past few weeks with an amazing group of filmmakers from around the world and time has been limited.  We are headed to Sundance tomorrow and I look forward to posting something about my impressions of the festival.  If you can believe it, it's my first time going.

In the meantime, Docs In Progress programs go on in the DC area.  We started a whole new session of classes and workshops this week and are looking forward to this Friday's work in progress screening at the George Washington University (sp0nsored by our friends at The Documentary Center).  Not just because we are showing two promising works in progress by local filmmakers (one a look back at Obama's Inauguration, the other about what it takes to make it as a dancer in Washington and beyond).  We are also honored to donate all the net proceeds from this Friday's screening to Partners in Health and its work in Haiti.  We'll be accepting both cash as usual (suggested donation of $10) or checks made directly out to "Partners in Health").
