Elizabeth F Wallace considers herself lucky to have visited the Soviet Union during the Apollo era which led to her founding a visa and passport service to help others cross international borders. After 3 decades, she sold the business with the intent of helping people get “beyond” borders through storytelling. As a StarryTeller, she encourages youth to create their own skylore. Her short film, The Overview, Beyond Borders, explores the experience of seeing Earth from Space. One terranaut she wants to know more about is her great grandfather who, in the late 1800’s, made the over 3 thousand mile journey across the Atlantic from Pitlochry, Scotland to Takoma Park.
