George Campbell

Assistant

George W. Campbell is a director/screenwriter/editor from Bowie, Maryland, whose films focus on themes of family and personal relationships. He interned for Docs in Progress in the summer of 2025 and now works as a part-time assistant, helping with tech support and logistics.

As a Nicaraguan-American filmmaker, George aims to highlight specific parts of his culture and personal experiences. His documentary short "Dual Citizens” made its way through the festival circuit, including the Micheaux Film Festival in Culver City, CA.
