After his MS diagnosis, he created an acclaimed autobiographical trilogy, including When I Walk and When We Walk. He founded AXS Lab and AXS Map to advance accessibility through media and technology. A member of the Academy, he has received numerous honors, including the National MS Society’s Inspiration Award.
