What makes this award extra special is that Fellows from 2022-24 nominate their peers to acknowledge the important work being done in and for disability communities across the country.

Docs has been committed in the recognition that people with disabilities are insufficiently represented in the documentary world. We started in 2020 with a convening, followed by a white paper, A Front Seat. Along the way we made a great new partner in @fwddoc and supported 9 terrific artists in our first fellowship for #FWD.
