This workshop is designed for filmmakers of all levels who want to take their interviewing skills to the next level. Participants will gain key insights and techniques for conducting effective interviews, including how to prepare for the interview, ask relevant questions, and elicit compelling stories from interviewees. We'll also cover the importance of sound and the best ways to capture it, plus practice a simple camera setup for a formal interview. Ultimately, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to capture the essence of their subjects, which will make their own documentaries more engaging and impactful. BYOS for lunch. Fridge available for snacks, water provided.
