About
On-Camera and Voiceover Workshop 101
You may take the full set of four workshops or select individual ones à la carte.
Four sessions: 11/3, 11/6, 11/10, 11/13 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Docs In Progress
Media makers are often called upon to step in front of the camera, whether to present work, provide voiceover narration, give interviews, or act out a scene. Sometimes they may even fill in for missing parts by staging simple reenactments. These moments can feel awkward or unnatural, but with the right techniques, anyone can learn to appear confident, clear, and authentic.
This four-session workshop provides hands-on training in the fundamentals of on-camera performance and voiceover delivery. Through guided exercises, live practice, live recording and group feedback, participants will build practical skills they can apply immediately to their own projects.
FORMAT
• Four sessions, 3 hours each.
• Mix of instruction, on-camera, on-mic performance, recordings, and playback.
• Collaborative feedback
