Docs In Progress proudly presents the award winning film, The Body Politic, a documentary by Gabriel Francis Paz Goodenough, as part of our Silver Screen Series. Join us on Tuesday, December 9 at 7 PM at Docs In Progress for a special screening, followed by a post-screening Q&A.

ABOUT THE FILM

The film follows Baltimore’s young mayor, Brandon M. Scott, as he risks his political future to tackle the city’s chronic gun violence through a bold, community-led public health approach. With full access to his first year in office, THE BODY POLITIC captures his team’s ambitious effort to heal Baltimore and confront its history of racism, even as mounting opposition threatens his career.
