Storytelling for Social Justice

In this workshop, students will learn about the power of storytelling in the pursuit of social justice. Understanding the impact of narratives and learning how to better craft compelling stories that uplift marginalized voices is the key objective. Students will have the opportunity to engage in dynamic discussions, group activities, and practical exercises to explore the role of storytelling as a catalyst for social change and advocacy. By the workshop’s end, students will be equipped with the tools and techniques necessary to harness the transformative potential of storytelling to shape perceptions, ignite empathy, and drive meaningful change in society.
