    Tiffané White is a museum educator and former program manager with a passion for people, art and making meaningful connections. For decades, through advocacy, creativity and access, Tiffané has worked alongside under-resourced communities, helping individuals move toward better lives. She’s designed and led educational programs, developed interactive museum engagements and art workshops, facilitated a community advocacy radio show and coordinated government communications contracts—all with the intention of expanding empathy for ourselves and others. Her desire has always been to give back—to share the privileges she’s received and provide a gift of service.

    Saraniya Tharmarajah is an interdisciplinary film/theater maker and public health researcher. Her work uses a multidisciplinary approach to communicating public health research findings based on qualitative interviews. Saraniya incorporates photography, film, and playwriting, and focuses on dialogical processes of creation. Her original works include Confessions of a Coconut (O’Neill Semi-Finalist) and COVID Monologues (HowlRound, American Public Health Association), and her work has been supported by the US Department of State, Maryland State Arts Council, and the National Institutes of Health. Saraniya holds degrees from Johns Hopkins University and Oxford University and was a Fulbright Scholar in India. She is currently completing her doctorate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

    Melissa Jackson is a dynamic producer with a knack for bringing creative projects to life. Behind the scenes and in front of the mic, Melissa has made her mark as podcast host and producer of VC Cheat Sheet, director and host of the Black ComputeHER conference, producer for a National Marrow Donor Program commercial, and creator of her own documentary project. What sets Melissa apart is her ability to seamlessly blend strategic thinking with hands-on production skills. Her background in change management means she thrives in fast-paced environments, easily adapting to shifting priorities while keeping the end goal in focus. Whether coordinating with stakeholders, managing production timelines, or ensuring quality content delivery, Melissa brings both technical expertise and a collaborative spirit to every project.

    Marjuan Canady is a Tony Nominated Broadway Producer and award-winning multi-hyphenated artist, entrepreneur, educator, cultural worker, literacy advocate, and mom. A DC native with Trinidadian roots, Marjuan centers her work in the intersectionality of the African Diasporic experience, with a focus on uplifting the narratives of black and brown girls and women. Her original work has been seen on Sensical TV, Issa Rae’s Hoorae Media, Sesame Street, and at The John F. Kennedy Center, The Smithsonian, The Lincoln Center for Performing Arts, The National Theatre, The Folger Theatre, and the North Carolina Museum of Art. Co-Producing Broadway credits include Alicia Key’s “Hell’s Kitchen”, “The WIZ" and "Death of a Salesman".
    She is also the founder of the production company Sepia Works LLC and the non-profit, the Canady Foundation for the Arts, as well as CEO/Author and Co-Founder of the children's media brand, "Callaloo Kids".

    Jenny Benson is a lifelong visual artist and a social worker by trade. She was born and raised in the Washington, DC area and studied art and sociology at a liberal arts college in Ohio where she upheld a steadfast dedication to both social justice and creativity. Jenny traveled across Canada where she learned about intentional communities, worked on organic farms, created artwork, and just had fun. She then lived in southern Appalachia, where she practiced homesteading skills, designed and built a cabin, wove baskets from natural materials, and made medicine with ethically wildcrafted plants. Jenny earned her Masters in Social Work (MSW) and has a particular interest in anti-oppressive practices, self-expression, and the relationship between mental health, community, and the wellbeing of the earth.

    Genise R White is a graduate of Indiana State University: Terre Haute, Indiana and a successful, widely known broadcaster in the musical genre of Reggae, as well as an actor, a filmmaker, poet and Radio/TV Producer best known for World Reggae Party on Radio Fairfax in Fairfax, VA. Genise has collaborated on several 48 Hour Film Projects in a variety of roles including actor, boom operator, and assistant script supervisor. In addition, she has worked as a background actress in feature films such as Major League 2, Firefly, Brown Coats, among others.

    Fatima Jibril is an accomplished instructional designer and curriculum developer with over two decades of experience creating transformative learning experiences for K-12 students and educators. She pursued her passion for storytelling and theater at Cornell University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts and Film and directed several student films that explored identity, culture, and community. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching from John Hopkins University and built a dynamic career designing innovative curricula, leading product development for digital learning environments, and producing multimedia educational content for organizations like Maryland Public Television, the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), and Calvert Education.

His experience includes managing innovative content creation, producing an educational video series for NASA, delivering thousands of daily news stories, and mentoring aspiring broadcasters for the Associated Press and other organizations for two decades. He strives to bridge the gap between complex subjects and audience engagement as both a professional pursuit and a personal conviction, reflecting his dedication to creating resonant and meaningful content.
